Great news for all bird enthusiasts! Wild Republic has entered into a partnership with the National Audubon Society to create a line of realistic looking plush beanbag birds. This partnership also includes The Cornell Lab of Ornithology, who has provided the authentic sounds for each bird to further add to the realism of these plush toys.

Each bird's lifelike design and impeccable detailing is the result of input from Audubon, where each bird is painstakingly examined for the maximum level of perfection in a five-inch plush toy. The authentic bird songs in the plush toy provided by Cornell represent hours, months, even years of in-the-field work conducted by expert recordists. This American Robin's call was recorded July 6, 1986 in New York, USA, and was a male song to defend territory and attract a mate.

The cheerful song of these birds is often considered a sign that spring has arrived in the northern states and Canada. Their distinctive red breasts, pointed bills and dark upper parts and heads make them easily identifiable.
