MEET AYOKA™ AND LITTLE DAKARAI™. Ayoka’s name means "one who causes joy" in Africa. Little Dakarai’s name means "happiness." These names sure fit! This mother and son are always smiling and laughing together. Some of the other animals wonder why they are so cheerful all the time. Ayoka just repeats the African proverb, "Teeth are all friends among each other".
AYOKA AND DAKARAI ARE CHIMPANZEES. Chimps are loved for their playful, outgoing personalities. Chimps chatter with each other all day long. In fact, chimpanzees make many vocal sounds, letting others know that they are happy, afraid, and more.
Chimps live in jungles across Western and Central Africa. If you see some, give them a big smile.
