Meet Sudha™ and her son Ikshu™. In India, Sudha’s name means "nectar" and Ikshu’s name means "sugarcane." Their names seem appropriate -- these two are always eating! Sudha and Ikshu often scamper into farms and eat everything in sight. As they say in India, "Full belly, happy heart."

Sudha and Ikshu are common langurs. Even though they love to eat, langurs are slender monkeys. They often have thick eyebrows and scruffy beards (sometimes with food stuck in them). Langurs feed on vegetation in large troops. In India, langurs are so sacred, troops of them are allowed to feast on crops. The farmers do not interfere!
